Import

As an importer of sustainably and organically produced European wine, we also consider how we import and transport our wines, even though we compensate our CO2 emissions by planting 1500 trees annually. 

The import of wine to the Netherlands from the wine countries we import from, is all done by temperature-controlled transport to keep the pure wine pure because our wine producers work with minimal sulfite additions. That is why we use trucks where the load is cooled to 15 degrees Celsius.

The carbon footprint of transport must be as small as possible... nevertheless, you cannot avoid transport. Wine is heavy... 1 full bottle of wine weighs 1.2 kg, a full Euro pallet with 600 bottles between 720 and 750 kg. 

We are currently investigating with parties the transport of wine by sailing ships and therefore Zero Emission. We hope to realize the first Zero Emission wine import this year.

Export 

We have been handling the global export of wine since 2024. Our role is multi-faceted and we relieve you as an importer in your own country in several areas. 

Our role can be as the actual exporter, everything goes through Wines Unlimited, you order from Wines Unlimited and are invoiced by Wines Unlimited. We can also provide services as an agent / mediator.
